What's common between Aamir and Imran?

While it's known that Imran khan, the oh-so-cute nephew of Aamir khan, will make the most awaited (by me!) dream debut in his no-less-cuter uncle's third home production,Janne tu yaa jaane naa, I would like to share some lesser-known facts about the two.

The industry is abuzz with comparisons between the Mamu and his Bhanja, and the two apparently have many things in common. For one, their debut films depict young, fresh romance.

But very few people know that both Aamir and Imran wanted to be directors not actors, and so started their career as assistant directors. Aamir assisted his uncle Nasir Hussain for two years before he gave a screen test for and Hussain decided to cast him in QSQT. And our boy Imran too has assisted various directors before he gave a screen test for Jaane Tu….

Finally, Aamir made his directorial debut withTaare Zammen par after 20 years in the industry. Wonder if Imran will take as many years to make his debut as director. For now, we're happy to see him as an actor!
