GIRLS ALOUD believe going part-time
GIRLS ALOUD believe going part-time is the way to keep the group together.
The band formed in 2002 but in recent years every album and every tour has supposedly been their last. The girls are hitting the road again in May on the back of new album Out Of Control — their best yet.And while she is not certain about their future, NADINE COYLE believes they can carry on for years if they each keep their manicured fingers in plenty of other pies too.
She told me: “We are going back on the road in the spring.
“After every album and every tour people say it’s the last one. But we’ve been doing this for six years and now we’re doing another tour.”As I revealed last month, Nadine has been adding to her string of business investments in Los Angeles, most recently snapping up a boutique hotel.
She believes such outside interests and other “second jobs” — including CHERYL COLE’s X Factor gig — will help keep Girls Aloud together.
Nadine added: “I like to have loads of things going on at the same time.
“We can do whatever we want as well as being in Girls Aloud. We can always come back to the band.”But when I asked if there will be another album. Nadine refused to end ongoing speculation about their future.
She said simply: “I would say there will probably be another album.”
